D2D Express is a Shopify application that helps merchants connect their Shopify store with the D2D Express delivery and fulfillment network. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when merchants install or use the D2D Express Shopify app.

1. Information We Collect

When a merchant installs or uses the D2D Express Shopify app, we may collect and process information from the merchant’s Shopify store, including:

• Shop information, such as shop domain and app installation status.
• Order information, such as order ID, order name, order date, order total, currency, payment status, and fulfillment status.
• Customer information required for delivery, such as customer name, email address, phone number, and shipping address.
• Product and variant information required to process delivery orders, such as line items, quantities, variant IDs, and prices.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information collected through the app to:

• Sync Shopify orders to the D2D Express delivery and dispatch system.
• Create and manage delivery requests.
• Support order fulfillment, delivery tracking, and merchant operations.
• Maintain secure app sessions and authenticate merchant access.
• Provide support, troubleshoot issues, and improve app reliability.
• Comply with applicable legal, security, and platform requirements.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We only share information when necessary to provide the app’s delivery and fulfillment services, comply with legal obligations, protect our rights, or support the merchant’s use of the app.

Delivery-related information may be shared with D2D Express internal systems, dispatch teams, couriers, or service providers where required to complete the delivery process.

4. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Access to merchant and customer information is limited to authorized personnel and systems that require it to operate the service.

5. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the app’s services, support merchant operations, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we delete, anonymize, or securely retain it as required by applicable law.

6. Shopify Compliance Webhooks

D2D Express supports Shopify’s mandatory privacy and compliance webhook requirements, including customer data requests, customer redaction requests, and shop redaction requests. When we receive a valid compliance request from Shopify, we process it according to Shopify’s requirements and applicable privacy laws.

7. Merchant Responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for informing their customers about how their personal information is collected and used, including information shared with delivery and fulfillment providers through apps installed on their Shopify store.

8. International Data Transfers

Information may be processed in countries where D2D Express, its systems, or its service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure that information is handled securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after updates means the updated policy applies.
